Advice to Young Lawyers: Don’t judge others based on who they are or what they’re doing. Instead, treat everyone with respect—you never know who will turn out to be a client, referral source, or the reason you don’t get a case or transaction. Institutional clients are still filled with individual people, so taking time to get to know them is critical, even if they can’t “help” you get business at this very moment.
